Our Services

Crown and Bridge- Sometimes referred to as "caps," a crown is typically made of porcelain fused to metal, and can be used to fix a tooth when a normal filling is not sufficient. Bridges can be used to replace missing teeth and are crowns that are connected together to fill the space of the missing tooth.

Cosmetic Dentistry- We offer a variety of cosmetic services such as porcelain veneers, white fillings, all porcelain or ceramic crowns, tooth whitening, Invisalign, and tooth re-contouring.

Dentures- Dentures can be used to replace several missing teeth (partial dentures) or every tooth in a patient's mouth (complete dentures.) Dentures are made to fit the exact contours of the patients' mouth and help restore the chewing, speaking, and esthetic functions that have been lost as the natural teeth have been lost.

Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy)- A root canal is necessary when the nerve of a tooth has lost its vitality (or has been damaged) by a cavity, trauma, or other insult. The root canal therapy consists of cleaning the inside of the tooth and filling it with a filling material. Many times, a crown will be used to restore the tooth after a root canal, because otherwise the tooth may be more prone to fracture than a non-treated tooth.

Emergency Care- Whether a tooth is knocked out, chipped, broken, infected or just painful we will get you in as soon as possible to make it healthy again. Please note: if you have suffered a head injury, severe bleeding, or swelling that makes breathing difficult please head directly to the emergency department at your nearest hospital!

Extractions- Extractions consist of the removal of a tooth or teeth.

Implants- Dental implants are titanium screws that are used to replace missing teeth, when the situation is conducive to their placement. Dr. Hyduk works closely with local oral surgeons in the treatment planning and restoration of dental implants.

Orthodontics- Dr. Hyduk is a certified Invisalign provider. Invisalign is a system of removable clear plastic Aligners (retainers) that will straighten teeth when worn diligently over the course of the treatment. Unlike metal braces, it is difficult to notice that they are being worn!

Periodontal (Gum) Therapy- Over time, a chronic bacterial challenge to the gums can lead to gingivitis, or even periodontal disease. Gingivitis can be reversed with proper care and maintenance, and the gums can be brought back to health. Periodontal disease occurs when longstanding gingivitis has led to bone loss around the teeth and is typically treated with a deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) and at times even surgery.

Preventative Care- Dental prophylaxis (routing cleanings) are typically done once every 6 months, but may be recommended more frequently in certain instances. Sealants are recommended on the biting surfaces of teeth that are prone to decay, especially the first and second molars of those under 18 years old. These seal out bacterial and sugar, and prevent decay from forming.

Restorative Dentistry (Fillings)- When a tooth has a carious lesion (cavity) it is necessary to remove the decayed part of the tooth and replace it with a filling. We offer both white and silver fillings at this office.
